I’m an applied economist with a talent for solving challenging public policy problems using data.
I take a grounded and interdisciplinary approach to research and analysis: ensuring that modern data science tools are applied as a complement to, rather than substitute for, qualitative insights from consultations, research and local expertise. Being passionate, creative and naturally curious, I enjoy working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams to answer challenging questions, such as:
- How can we measure, track and monitor the risks of political instability and violence?
- Why does the social contract matter for tax policy?
- How can we integrate disability inclusion and the CRPD when developing budget policy?
- How much does the world spend on violence?
- Can we estimate which road infrastructure will be impacted by climate change before it’s built?
